Sugar, refined in the form of cubes was invented in 1843 in the Czech Republic. Inventor - Swiss Jacob Christoph Rad was managing a sugar factory in Dačice. At the point where the sugar factory, now a memorial - a snow-white cube, a symbol of refined sugar.
