Peter Grishin (14/07/1923, Saratov, Russia - 27.12.2001, Saratov).
PA Grishin was born in 1923 in Saratov, a working class family. Special education received in the Saratov Art School at the Pedagogical Department (1939 - 1942).
Studies interrupted by World War II - the artist went to the front (awarded orders and medals). He graduated from college in 1949. Then he continued his education at the Riga Academy of Arts on the beautiful department (1949 - 1950). Since 1950, he worked in the Saratov branch of the Art Fund of the USSR.
Member of regional exhibitions since 1951, inter-regional (1958), republican (1952, 1954, 1955, 1960) and Jubilee "40 years of the Great October Socialist Revolution." Chairman of the Saratov Branch of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR (1958 - 1960). Board member since 1962 Member of the Union of Artists since 1957, Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR in 1991 Honored Artist of Russia since 2001
His works are in collections SGHM, museums, Saratov region, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
