Today , December 5, 2012. Died Oleg Tairov. One of my closest friends in the antique world. Large Russian art dealer , one of the founders and a member of the International Confederation of antique and art dealers, and the Guild of Appraisers. About twenty years ago, opened a gallery "Belvedere ". Oleg was a cheerful, friendly person , encyclopaedic , not only in their professions. Ready at any time to respond, to give advice.

Oleg Tairov will be buried at the cemetery Khovanskoye , on Saturday, December 8 at 13:00. Farewell will be held in the chapel at 71 Hospital , Mozhayskoye sh. , 14, at 11.30.

It is difficult to overestimate the importance of the figures Oleg Petrovich Tairov in the antique world. Back in the 1970s, Tairov, economist and biologist by training, started an antique business. Many times we talked to him about the antiques business - for me it was a tremendous experience. Tahir - a terrific professional, legally savvy, who knows the history and the business.
