Here's another one that was sold in the U.S. on one of the low quality of our auction - Elite Decorative Arts. Was sold for 14-something thousand dollars. But, given the tricks auctioneers, it may not be the real information.

Antique Meissen German porcelain hand painted oval covered dresser box. Incredible reticulated design throughout with female busts and figural cherubs throughout sides and cover. Stunning work throughout this work. Finely detailed floral garlands throughout with scrolled reticulated designs throughout. Gilded bowl interior with flat floral design to bottom of cover. Panels with crests and military scenes to cover. Blue crossed swords mark to bottom. Etched B.136. and impressed 148 to bottom. 19th century. Measures 7 "height x 10 1/2" length x 7 7/8 "depth (17.7cm x 26.6cm x 20cm). Condition: Some repairs. Chip to rim. No apparent crazing. Some minor paint and gilt loss.

My personal opinion : if there are means to buy expensive antiques , I would prefer something more unique. Either the subject of arts and crafts , painting , or a nice person or the same china, but more rare. Another thing , if you fall in love with this Meyssen . Then , it's up to you. Good luck.
