19th C. MEISSEN RETICULATED PORCELAIN DRESSER BOX

Sold For $ 12,500

Antique Meissen German porcelain hand painted oval covered dresser box. Incredible reticulated design throughout with female busts and figural cherubs throughout sides and cover. Stunning work throughout this work. Finely detailed floral garlands throughout with scrolled reticulated designs throughout. Gilded bowl interior with flat floral design to bottom of cover. Panels with crests and military scenes to cover. Blue crossed swords mark to bottom. Etched B.136. and impressed 148 to bottom. 19th century. Measures 7 "height x 10 1/2" length x 7 7/8 "depth (17.7cm x 26.6cm x 20cm). Condition: Some repairs. Chip to rim. No apparent crazing. Some minor paint and gilt loss.

Marinac, here's another one selling the same thing, which was held at the Christie's Sale 5924 Interiors - Style & Spirit, 22 September 2009, London, South Kensington.
