Bronze quite easy to forge. A work of Archipenko - one of the most counterfeited. Sculpture without a "Archipenko Foundation" nothing. You can, of course, pay a couple thousand ye and hope.

Here is the signature on the seemingly genuine thing. I am no expert in these matters, and not even an amateur. Just recently we have been auctioned one of Archipenko, a signature there. Although there who knows of the existence poddtverzhdeniya Fund unknown. But writing all the letters differ significantly, especially "r" and "e".

Dear Sandro
your work is dated by the French period Archipenko, and I was greatly embarrassed the English version of spelling letters R, logically its French version at work at Atim as for the known samples of his signature, then they just go with the French a capital R if guided by the examples in artprice.com, but possibly in the works of his American period, there were other options States in the same Archipenko moved only in 1923 and given the dominance of French in this period hardly imagine how he could have known in 1911 about such spelling r as in your case Posted 6 minutes Unfortunately, today the conclusion Archipenko Foundation does not guarantee the authenticity of the work, sometimes they are very questionable, alas ... |

If someone applies for a new casting a real conclusion, the Fund issued on the original work, then why the Fund is to blame? Such machinations enough. This is well known, and on the site there is even a list of facts known to them. Fund no need to issue fake documents to work. |

Dear Altim!
And you believe the information about which you write? Rather write. This is probably a German auction? Show the photo if it is not difficult. Not the fact that if the buyer has bought, that will carry it back to them when proves replica. Let Frances Gray Archipenko confirm from the Fund. Then only it will be correct. And the fact that the new signature - 101 %!!!!!!!!!! Ha! I even guess where this work! |
