A French court banned the exhibition of corpses


The Paris court decided to close the exhibition "Our body, a corps ouvert" ( "Our body, open body"), which exhibited a specially trained and of prepared human corpses. The exhibition has visited many countries around the world, it was visited by millions of viewers. In the capital of France, it operated from 12 February and had to work until May 10.

The Court requires the closure of the exhibition for 24 hours under the threat of imposition of penalties in the amount of twenty thousand euros per day. Furthermore, the judiciary is responsible for the exhibition organizers to allocate all of its exhibits of the city administration under threat of fines, which amount to 50 thousand euros per day.

In court, the organizers of the exhibition "Our body, a corps ouvert" filed by representatives of two human rights groups, who assert that exhibits the exhibition, which presented as unidentified corpses, are actually the bodies of dead prisoners from prisons in China.

However, the judge in his verdict did not specify the origin of the corpses, he only said that in his view, the exhibition denigrates the human body. The court relied on the passed in December last year a law that the dead body should be at the cemetery.
