The difference in the cost of collection and the items separately

In my opinion , everything is ambiguous.
1. Cleverly selected collection of more of its constituent objects , as has been expended labor and intellectual property to its collection .
2 . Sale of the collection at once - wholesale , greatly reduces the complexity and cost of its seller. And, accordingly , such an approach is the cost lower than the cost of individual items .
3 . There are low value items , but very " necessary" is in the collection.
In short , in my opinion, there is no consensus , all very dependent on the specific input .
