Default Landscape painters, Impressionists

Dear forum members !

I think many of us seek to not only successfully invest in paintings or other art objects with the prospect of growth, but also to get an aesthetic pleasure of ownership in some piece of art . Put simply want to feast for the eyes and its price over time grew.

This topic has been raised, but there was an educational program on artists other direction. Since I'm interested in the landscape painters , the Impressionists .

So my question to the experts on this forum is:

Let's say if the amount of $ 100,000 , recommend Impressionist landscape of the Soviet period in which you think is washed to invest , and that have a good potential for growth in value. Only interested in oil painting !

Thanks in advance for your reply!

artcol, though interesting view with minimal commentary.

Over the past 6 years Plastov prices are in the range 10 - 25 t $

That is not enough.

Even by 2008, not been any trend.

After how long do you think the prices will rise and by how much (as far as this underrated artist)?

Here in Korovin some experts do not recommend investing in investment purposes, as secondary, and only in the landscapes of the Soviet period is the bigger question.

I hope that for 100 , etc. Now you can buy a large classroom Plastov and this classy layers will grow.

Like this:

Artist big, classic. What else from the Soviet Impressionists can be bought for 100 , etc.? Grabar ? Hardly.

UPD Yes, I think that the reservoir is undervalued. But the heirs of this work is about to be corrected.

I think more than once.

This year will be a special program Makdugalse type, you can look at the network searches for "makdugals layers Prize".

"The increase in the prize fund art award Plastov to 500 thousand pounds was due to sponsorship. "

And the brand, and most importantly -the-art . Just not all brewed this topic (I have, for example, not at all) , but that is their problem, not Plastov ))

Whether the extra money would be - I would have bought some of his studies with portraits. And the landscape of the above type .

And I have another question here : someone can explain sale Savitsky GK for $ 3.5 million ? What was that? Type PR stunt ?
