Dear Collectors! The new season of Trading Auction House, "Empire" opens Oct. 2 carefully chosen numismatic collection from more than 300 lots, among which there are things on anyone, even the most demanding tastes. We try to cover as wide range of topics and areas of collecting. At the auction items are faleristics, numismatics, military history, including antique weapons, books and historical documents.

The first mention of the most striking lots of Russian Imperial Order. Only one which was now in the antique market set of the Order of White Eagle, with swords (for Military Merit) is one of the top auction lots. Extreme rarity and exceptional condition and complete set make it especially attractive for purchase. Equally interesting is a beautiful set of characters of the Order of St. Anne, 1 st degree and sign of the Order of White Eagle made by Albert Kabel.
Its rarity stand signs Ural Cossack troops and Trans-Baikal Cossack troops. Also worth mentioning, perhaps undocumented female award: premium brooch Imperial Agricultural Society of Finland, "Fidelity."
At the auction represented a large number of award medals, including the rather rare "In memory of the consecration of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow" and "Save the lost" during the reign of Emperor Alexander II.

Numismatic part of the auction is rich in a variety of coins from antiquity to the Soviet period. The collection offers a selection of thalers and extends a number of interesting instances of domestic coins and commemorative medals of the XVIII century. An interesting collection of coins donativnyh the second half of the XIX century, including an excellent instance of the ruble in 1841, "On the occasion of the marriage the heir to the throne."
Traditionally, a strong selection of Soviet coins, this time striking an exceptional lot of the 28 trial coins 1956, surprising in its entirety. Also noteworthy proof coins in 1953 and 2 of the ruble in 1958
At this auction deserve attention documents and autographs, including a handwritten letter A. Suvorov, pass, signed by General-in-chief Grigory Potemkin, the decree of Empress Elizabeth on May 13, 1754 on the need to deposit small silver kopecks and money in the treasury, a rare edict of Emperor Paul I, about welcoming Commanderies Order of St John of Jerusalem, and autographs of the Emperors.
Several items have memorial value - Granted a cigarette case with the monogram of His Imperial Highness Grand Duke Georgy Alexandrovich, donated them to the estate of Abbas-Tuman. To the category of "royal" gifts include a crystal vase height of almost 1 m, which belonged to L. Brezhnev.
Attention should be paid historical weapons, including rare sword "big hands" during the reign of Emperor Peter I.

However, we are pleased to present a collection of auction № 8 «antiquarian books, maps, photographs and posters». At the auction on October 2 will be presented 362 lots --print editions, maps, books with autographs, drawings, posters and photographs. We draw your attention to some of the top lots of the auction.
From books of historical themes note: Lot number 5 - Publication of the first biography of the famous Field Marshal, statesman and favorite of Catherine II, AP Potemkin in Russian - Life of Field Marshal Prince Grigory Potemkin Tauride /[trans. VA Levshina]: [2 hours] - St.: In type. Glazunov, 1811. Despite the fact that the author of the book is not specified, it is known that he was a French officer who served in Russia - Transhan de Laverne Marie Philippe Léger. Lovers of luxury illustrated books certainly will be interesting to Lot number 8 - "Museum of rare, ancient and oriental weapons of subjects of His Majesty the King of All Russia. The edition is published in St. Petersburg from 1835-1853 years. with beautiful lithographs executed the drawings, AP Rokshtulya representing a unique collection of arms and ammunition from a collection of Tsarskoe Selo, consisting of more than five thousand items.
Also of note the publication of illustrated editions of the album Species, portraits and images of the most remarkable objects of nature, social life of various peoples and the historical monuments of different countries to the Universal trip around the world ZS Dumont D'Urville - Lot number 10.
Note also Lot number 23 - edition of the famous "Diary of Lieutenant-General of the Russian service, the chief chamberlain, a young Holstein Duke Karl Peter Ulrich, the future Emperor Peter III, Friedrich Wilhelm Berhgoltsa (1699-1765). Publication in 4 parts published in Moscow in the years 1857-1862. These notes beautifully presented inner life and customs of the then high society, contains many curious details concerning the private life of people around Peter I. All four parts of the two components of individual bindings era of collection preservation.
Lot number 28 - the most important historical work of the Russian historian and writer, anthropologist, professor of Kazan University Athanasius Prokop'evich Schapova "Russian split staroobryadstva considered in connection with the internal state of the Russian Orthodox Church and citizenship in the XVII century and the first half of the XVIII. Lots № 52-63 - represent assembly books on the Russian icon.
Lot number 83 - Antonovich, V., Betz, VA Historical figures of south-western Russia in the biographies and portraits /VB were Antonovich and VA Bets on the collection Vasily Tarnovsky. Vol. I [and only]. - Kiev: type. Imperial University of St. Vladimir, 1885. The edition is illustrated with 19 portraits and facsimiles of famous Ukrainian historical figures.
I would also like to note the 18 volume edition of «Military Encyclopedia» ID Sytina - Lot number 152. Despite the somewhat tired appearance bindings, this set is complete without the loss of the illustrations and maps. From the poetry books we select the lot number 231 - the first collection of poetry Futurists "slap in the face of Public Taste. In defense of free art. Poetry, prose and articles. Burliuk, N. Among the illustrated editions the first third of the twentieth century on our auction, we note rare in its complete form, and well-preserved series of posters AI Strakhov, "ABC Revolution 1917-1921" - Lot number 249. And also a unique album "Scriabin in Lukin's Dance" with original drawings G. Zimin printed on collotype edition of just 100 copies - Lot number 252.
For collectors of old photos will be interesting to a small selection of photos of the late XIX-early XX centuries. - Lots 339-347, among which the most interesting is Lot number 340 - photograph, FI Chaliapin in the role of the Varangian guest of opera NI Rimsky-Korsakov's "Sadko" with the handwritten signature of an outstanding singer.
