The September auction of antiquarian books

Antique - secondhand auction № 132 "Russian poetry, manuscripts and autographs," will be held September 11, 2010 in the premises of the Central House of Journalists at the address: Moscow. Nikita Boulevard, 8a.
Several proposals of this auction can be considered unique to poetry lovers of the Silver Age, we offer a selection of books, many of which are excellent preservation and collectible autographed by famous poets. I would like to present several lots of photos.

Lot 22. Akhmatova A. Evening: Poems /Preface M. Kuzmin, Auble. Gorodetsky; frontispiece Lanceray; Screensavers A. B <eloborodova>. - SPb.: Poets' Guild, 1912. - 86 [3] c. 300 copies. - 20 x 14 cm book in amateur modern leatherette. The top cover is missing. The first book of the poet. Rarity. The collection was released in early March 1912 .. At the possessory avantitule inskript: Anna Akhmatova. Affiliation inskripta deliberation. According to the originator, the inscription is consistent with earlier samples of handwriting of Anna Akhmatova (see facsimile verse. Posvyasch.Tamare Karsavina, etc.)

Lot 61. GUMILEV N. conquistador Path: Poems. - SPb.: Tipo-Lit.R.S. Volpin, 1905. - 76 [1]. - 21,4 x 13,6 cm Edition of 300 copies. In publishing the cover. In October 1905 g.izdaetsya the means of parents first book of the poet.

  
Lot 54. GUMILEV, N. Pearl: Poems. - M. Scorpio, 1910. - [8], 167, [6]. In amateur binding compound. Publication cover missing. In the upper right corner avantitula autograph of the author: Golden bird Ade Arkadyevna Bartenev author.
In the cabaret "Stray Dog": a 20-year-old Ada Arkadyevna R. (stsenich. nickname - Bartenev), became "golden bird" of the poet from the end of 1912, before the end of winter in 1913, splitting it with the actress Olga Vysotskaya Meyerhold Theatre (1885 - 1966), which is already in the October 1913 bear him a son - Orestes. On the flyleaf of the author's autograph: Anna Nikolaevna Gumilyova with sincere love. Nik.Otsup. Probably for N. Otsup poet always remained his wife's favorite teacher. After another 1918 divorce Gumilev (actually marriage broke up in 1914), Akhmatova married Assyriologist and poet VK Shileiko

In 1920 founded together with N. Gumilev, G. Ivanov, M. Lozinski "The new workshop poets. In 1921 came the first collection of poems "Grad". In 1922 he went to Berlin.

In publishing the cover. The first collection of the poet. Rarity. Pavel Luknitsky (1902 - 1973) - writer, poet, chronicler
first biographer Gumilev and Anna Akhmatova. In the early lyric significantly influence Acmeism, loyalty to whom the poet kept all his life.

198. Luknitsky, Paul. Thistle: [Poems.] - Leningrad: 1926. - 42 pp. - 15h11 See Authors mock poetry collection. Manuscript. On the cover - "the thistle", and on the title page is written: "Tight wave" - the original version of the name. In the dedication: "Anatolia Grant - the memory of distant wanderings dreams." A lot of edits in the text. Two of the poem "In Memory of Esenin" and "High world gorgeous" is not included in the printed book in 1927. A unique document of literary creation, the 20-s XX century. Rarity.

199. Tikhonov Nikolay. Blades and cart. - Publishing Writers in Leningrad, 1932. - 200 pp. - 17 x 13 cm Binding, jacket, counting books M. Kirnarskogo. Well preserved. At avantitule autograph of the author: Old "militarmetu" Pavlik Luknitsky friendly. 1933. Tikhonov. Tikhonov, Nikolai Semenovich (1896-1979), writer, poet, social activist. Member of the First World War and the Civil War (Red cavalry officer). Attend classes, which led NS Gumilev. At the beginning of 1921, passed in literary association "Serapion Brothers". Tikhonov pretty close friends with Luknitsky, disowned fanatical collector in connection with the Soviet career. In the manuscript he hints at the participation of P. Luknitsky in 1920. in activities to eliminate disruption to transport.

202. GEORGE IVANOV. 1943 - 1958: Poems. - New York: Publication of "New Journal", 1958. - 112 pp. - 20h14, 5 cm in publishing the cover. Largest poet of the first Russian emigration Georgi Ivanov (1894 - 1958) foresaw that he would return to Russia in verse. Now he is widely published in his homeland, his poetry was formed a huge circle of admirers. A few months after his death in New York came out this last, the biggest book.
