Already after the first recordings critics have noted the desire Dio is unusual for the genre of pop melody, which, coupled with a powerful voice gave the world heavy metal one of the major hit-makers.
The last stage career as a musician started relatively recently - in 2006 the leader of Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi invited Ronnie to support the fashion of the supergroup, teaming up with once again abandoned Ozzie counterparts.
