Solzhenitsyn died of acute heart failure
At 90 meters, died a famous Russian writer, journalist, historian, poet and public figure Alexander Solzhenitsyn.

According to ITAR-TASS late son, Stepan Solzhenitsyn died at home. The cause of death was "acute heart failure". Death occurred in 23 hours and 45 minutes. Until then, Solzhenitsyn was sick for a long time, but continued to engage in active creative activity. Publicist, historian, poet and public figure Alexander Solzhenitsyn was widely known for his literary works, which dealt with the most acute socio-political themes. A former dissident, for several decades, actively fought against the communist regime, at 94, he returned to Russia. In the 90 th year for the book "The Gulag Archipelago," Solzhenitsyn was awarded the State Prize.
