Nikolay Aleksandrovich Yaroshenko (1846-1898) - the largest master of genre in Russia in the second half of the XIX century, one of the ideologues and active participants in the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions. He is known primarily as the author of genre scenes
of urban life on relevant, ostrosotsialnye topic. In his works the artist created a collective image of workers, students, nihilists minded intellectuals. It is owned by his brush became paradigmatic for the Russian school of painting,

The famous Russian sezanist. Created by the artist style had a profound effect on Russian painting, both on its official line of realistic and non-konformiststkuyu.

The undisputed top lot November auction - painting Konchalovsky «Oaks» 1921 (estimate: 8.7 million) . The work belongs to his famous cycle of landscapes Abramtzevo created in 1920 - 1921, respectively. Here, in the former estate Mamontov, Konchalovsky found for himself a welcome source of inspiration - a beautiful oak grove. Mikhail Nesterov part of the list of most expensive and sought after by Russian artists in the spring of 2007, "Vision of St. Sergius, the young man" (version canvases "Fine arts" from the collection of TG) were sold on the Russian auction at Sotheby's in New York for 4,296,000 dollars.
