About the artist:
Born February 23, 1918 in Moscow.
Professional education at the Moscow Art Normal School 1905 and the Moscow Art Institute named after VI Surikov.
Since 1947, a permanent participant of Moscow, republican and national exhibitions.
Member of USSR Union of Artists since 1953. Honored Artist of Russia. He was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor". Died April 29, 1976.
The legacy of the artist includes several hundred paintings, executed mostly in the technique oil on canvas. This is primarily lyrical landscapes so beloved of the Moscow region, Russian North, Siberia and the Urals, Central Asia, the Crimea and the Caucasus.
