Good evening.

Painting done on canvas. Dimensions 84h48 see picture written about in 60-70 years, although not exactly sure.
There is a signature Sokolov and figure 25 (?).
I would like to know whether there is well-known artists Sokolovs?
What does the number 25 (can be used as stands for something)?
And at a price you can say a few words.

Stalevar! As a very simple step, try to search for the signature here on the site. In the base Sokolov there are many, perhaps, "your" too. Good luck!

Sokolov is, but work is not similar.

The guide members of the Union of Artists of the USSR, publishing house "Soviet Artist, Moscow. 1982 - 37 artists with the name of Sokolov.
But almost sure that your not there. Work is not like a professional.
