Yartsev Gregory F. (1858, Moscow - 1918, ibid) Painter First lessons of painting was in Sunday school at the Stroganov School, where he studied at the school. He lived in Yalta (1897-1907), working forester. Was a member of the Yalta city council and a member of the County Council. Worked in Bessarabia (1907-1908). From 1914 to settle permanently in Moscow, where he taught drawing at the women's courses. Exhibitions TPHV (since 1885, since 1899 Member TPHV). Gregory F. Yartsev was one of those native artists who developed the amazing phenomenon of our fine art of the last decades of the XIX century - Russian landscape painting - in breadth. His views of southern nature, the southern village of support among the public who are familiar with them at the exhibitions of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions (since 1885). Gorky in 1908. |
