Tumakov Sergei Pavlovich (1919-2003) Honored Artist of Russia (1999).

He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts im.I.E.Repina USSR (1945-1951).
He worked in the field of easel painting, mostly in the landscape genre.
Russian Union of Artists since 1954.
He taught at the GHU (1951-1953).

Chairman of the Gorky Union of Artists of the RSFSR (1965-1967).

Member of the Great Patriotic War of 1941 1945гг.

Participation in exhibitions:
Since 1952 - a permanent participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor Area ("Big Volga", 1967, 1970, 1974, 1985, 1991, 1998, 2003), republican (Moscow, 1957, 1990) art exhibitions.

Solo Exhibitions:
1982, 1989, 1999. - Bitter - Nizhny Novgorod,
1977 - Luch, Ivanovo region

The works are in the Museum of the Academy of Fine Arts (St. Petersburg), St. Petersburg Museum of the city, Nizhny Novgorod and Ulyanovsk public art museums, in galleries "Universal Art", "Start" (Moscow), Fleishermuzey (USA, Arizona), in collection of international company "Phoenix" (Paris), a collection Gaelt Gallery (London), meeting the company "Nicholas and Son" (Germany), in private collections in Russia.
