       According to information received by the management in July 1998 from
   Private collection (Moscow) has been kidnapped valuable collection
   graphics (drawings, watercolors, etchings, autolithograph).
       In connection with the above, please orient personnel to
   detection and suppression of smuggling of cultural property. At
   detection of stolen items (Appendix) immediately
   inform management (phone connection: 201-7633, 201-3698,
   201-4322, fax 742-0017).

            In evaluating a work of graph (Figure, Watercolor,
             Etching, Autolithograph), stolen from APARTMENTS
                The artist's heirs, LE Kropyvnyts'kogo
   
       Theft of approximately 600 pages, is 17 folders
   standard size - folders. Folders dark - blue and blue,
   covered with leatherette. Almost each folder has an inventory of the material.
   Most of the works have scientific annotations that say
   about the value and rarity of works. On separate sheets at the back
   there is an ink rubber stamp, "Collection
   LE Kropyvnyts'kogo. "All works are decorated in standard
   mat of drawing paper with carved windows. All the stolen folders
   thematically divided into sections: I - works by Russian
   Artists (Fig., watercolor, etching, autolithograph) or
   Artists - foreigners working in Russia, II - Western
   Masters, III - Leo Kropyvnyts'kogo own work and watercolors
   His father - the artist Yevgeny Kropyvnyts'kogo. 44 (44)

   directories, periodicals, can remember the following: by folders,
   authors and individual works.
       1. Folder ink drawings, watercolor artist VV Lebedev
   (1891 - 1967) of the cycles of "New life", "bar revolution", "Love
   punks, "" Hooligans, "" NEP. "Sketches with brush and pencil women
   figures, etc. (from 1912 to 1940-ies.). The folder was approximately
   45 works.
       Estimated total cost - from 18,000 dollars (18
   thousand).
       2. Folder pictures and Autolithograph artist VN Masyutin
   (1884 - 1955) of the cycles of "In the City" (1920), "Woman on the beast"
   (1907), illustrate the "Love" (1913), Fig. and others (from 1910 to
   1920-ies.). All work is very rare, because artist they were not repeated.
   In the folder were 20 - 22 works.
       Estimated total cost - 7 - 8000 dollars (seven -
   8000).
       3. Drawings, watercolors and engravings (some painted) on
   "The Russian way of life" (preparation for publication), and Russian artists
   working in Russia - A. Orlov - 2 (1777 - 1832);
   A. Venetsianov (1780 - 1847) - etchings on the theme of World War II
   1812 - 3; J. Atkinson - colored engravings of 20 liters.; Shlyamkova
   (1819 - 1890) (mid-19.) - 7, everyday, urban scenes,
   lithographs, etchings Shishkin - 4, landscapes, etchings by Ilya Repin -
   Two (very rare), V. Vasnetsov, 'Janitor' in 1870, is nowhere
   described. In the folder was about 50 sheets.
       Estimated total score - 30000 dollars (thirty thousand).
       4. Folder People Pictures "- etchings, lithographs, from 18 in. on
   20. The most rare - lists 18. "As a mouse the cat was buried,
   "A cook and janitor," "Fight Eruslana", as well as on the war
   1812 - all painted, rare colored lithographs of urban
   those with the songs "Parting" (1870 - 1880 he was.) "Kariglazki"

   38 pages.
       Their total score: up to 15000 dollars (15000).

       The works of artists and L. E. Kropyvnyts'kogo Kropyvnyts'kogo (d.
   1994) were found in 3 locations: 2 - Work E. Kropyvnyts'kogo; in
   each of 25 works, all - 50 watercolors and drawings.
       Score: 20000 U.S. dollars (twenty thousand).
       In a folder - ink drawings, LE Kropyvnyts'kogo.
       - 30 works from the series of illustrations to the Bible, the works
   Solzhenitsyn, bookplates, etc.
       Their assessment: 15000 USD (15,000).
       Plot EL Kropyvnyts'kogo: portraits of girls and women
   still lifes executed in watercolor or colored pencils in
   conventional manner.
       All work is signed on the front side and have endowments
   inscription.
       The total number of stolen plates of all sizes: the minimum
   530 (530).
       Overall score: 320,250 U.S. dollars (320 thousand
   250).
       Assessment made on the basis of existing prices
   Public procurement antique market, including some
