In the five years of its existence "Archstoyanie" became an integral part of the summer festival of life. The theme of the current "Archstoyanie", which will be held July 24-25, was the search for harmony with nature. On the territory of Nicola sloth appear 19 objects, labyrinths, the idea of dealing with life and death, relations with the outside world and even the existence within the walls of the office.

Given the abnormally hot weather, which is not the first week of tearing the city, a trip to Nicola sluggard, probably the best idea is not just part of entertainment, but also a ready escape route from the burning of Moscow. Especially this year, "Archstoyanie" promises to be a truly synthetic festival. Instead, Nicholas Polissky curator became an artist Oleg Kulik. He decided to combine all kinds of art, so that the forum participants, and spectators traveled not only on natural landscapes, but the expanses of the human mind.

As a result, the concept of the festival was called "The Nine Muses of the labyrinth.      Soon came here as an artist and architect Nicholas Polissky Yuri Grigoryan.      In 2000 - with the help of Igor Kireev - the reconstruction of the local church of the Holy Trinity. The temple was built on the site of an old wooden chapel in 1802 - by means of the landlord Muromtsev - in honor of the Grand standing on the Ugra river. His recovery continues to this day, although the church no longer resembles the ruins of the late 80's.
     In 1992 the village of St. Nicholas Lenivets became part of the specially protected natural and historic territory of Ugra National Park. And in 2000, began what has yielded little village, without exaggeration, world fame. Artist Nicholas Polissky decided to bring ruin oneself by drink population of the surrounding villages to implement their plans. The way: since they drink much less because life has become if not better, it is interesting.
     
     What breathes peace
      First performance, which is staged here artists, was the construction ... the army of thousands of snowmen - on the steep banks of the Ugra. Then there were the ziggurats (stepped pyramid). According to the story of Nicholas Polissky - these were his projects - and hay, and firewood had to prove the circulation of material used in nature. A firewood - they still turned into heat energy, which is "reborn" for the long winter evenings in the creative energy.
