Klimenko Philip Philipovich (1862 - after 1917)
Ukrainian artist. Born in southern Russia. Art education in art school in Odessa K. Kostandi. He participated in exhibitions TYURH (1891, 1902). Later on he taught at the Odessa School of Drawing, referred to as a teacher, artist A. Nowakowski. It is known that he participated as an exhibitor at trade shows TYURH in 1881 and in the spring exhibition in 1902 almost all the works devoted to the Black Sea species. This seascapes and images of ships. He worked mainly in watercolor. Many of the works reproduced on postcards in St. Petersburg and Stockholm in publishing P. Gekshera and equity on the islands Grönberg. The fate of the creative heritage is unknown, perhaps many died during the revolution.
