Born in Ulan Bator, Mongolia in 1942.
Graduated from the Irkutsk Art School (1956-1961) and the Institute. Repin Academy of Arts of the USSR (1966-1972).
Painter. Works mainly in the field of genre paintings, portraits, and landscape genre.
Author of a number of paintings of the Great Patriotic War of 1941 1945g.g.
Russian Union of Artists since 1974.
Since 1972 - a permanent participant of regional trade shows. Exhibitor Area ("Big Volga", 1974, 1980, 1985, 1991, 1998, 2003), republican (1975, 1976, 1977, 1980, 1983, 1985, 1994), All-Russia (Moscow, 1981, 1985, 1994, 2000) art exhibitions.
Solo Exhibitions: N. Novgorod, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002.
Since 1987 - Secretary of the Board of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR,
Board Member of the USSR Union (1988-1992).
Chairman vystavkoma "Big Volga" (1980, 1991).
Chairman of the Board of the Nizhny Novgorod organization CX RSFSR (1979-1982, 1984-1986).


Wide popularity and recognition brought the artist created his large paintings of history and contemporary life of the Russian people
