Lot 100 S. Otroshchenko symbolic. April 2 it 100letie birthday. Interestingly, the organizers know this, or is it coincidence? For items once the conversation went, I would like to announce that I finally found Helen Otroshchenko, that is depicted in the film Morning Yablonska T N. She lives and works in Alma-Ata. I phoned her, and we are very good talk. I'll keep her abreast of all developments. And yet, though I probably will open a new topic. just want to communicate (in this thread it does not hurt), that from 25 March to 4 April will do an exhibition with Otroshchenko in Moscow Gallery Nagornaya Street Remizov house 10. I invite all forumchan, I am no one to invite.

All true, but "on the bottom."
This work was written in 1957 and according to my data of its original size 30 x 50.
Since the work in 1979 went on a solo exhibition in Japan, it must be properly "dressed", ie on a wooden frame 1,5-2 cm thick Obviously during registration, these notorious 0.5 cm and cut off. But it does not matter.
In 1982 the work was sold through a salon on exports and should have been in the Ministry of Agriculture building. As it turned out to be (in) Ukraine history is silent.
Now about the signature.
Original signature from work was not. But I know of cases where gallery owners or owners of work, being quite sure of the authenticity of the work, decided to "improve" provenance, and independently to sign somewhere in the corner. Obviously, there is the very case.
Work was already on the auction Gelos in Kiev in 2007.
For potential buyers say that the investment growth rates of work, according to the specified price auction, since its sale of the family over the years of 1200 - 1800%.
The work is authentic. Buy.

They called the work "in the yard, but this is not the court, and cottage by the sea. View from the summer kitchen. This piece of land on which stands a table with flowers, no longer exists. And the fence does not. The sea took everything.
On photo 1 - photo Lot number 125.
Photo 2 - now at the place where the artist wrote (summer kitchen) is a bed of flowers.
Photo 3 - Two ram into the sea - all that remained of the building, which a neighbor, the owner of the house (the roof of the house depicted in the picture to the right of the table) trying to save his building. Neither the House nor the building no more.
So the landscape depicted in the painting, had already gone down in history
