Impressed by the opening of the Winter Olympics today, and paying tribute to Canada.

Twenties of XX century. are actually the birth of Canadian painting. Earlier artists such as Cornelius Krighof and others tend to imitate the French, English or Dutch masters. Now, in Ontario, formed a creative alliance of seven painters, known as the Group of Seven ".
