Exhibition Boris Frantsuzova

February 5, 2010 in Vladimir Oblast Center of Fine Arts hosts exhibition of works of outstanding graphic artist Boris Godunov Frantsuzova (1940 - 1993).

Name BF Frantsuzova usually associated with the revival of the art of etching in Russia, but the master brilliantly distinguished himself in other graphical techniques. After his death, was an inventory of remaining in the studio heritage, and, in summing up, opened the next grand picture. Remaining 459 etchings, linocuts 156, 173 bookplates (mainly woodcuts), 496 gouaches, 16 posters, 354 paintings, 38 watercolors, 73 pastels. To this number must be added the 128 latest works in different techniques performed by the author in hospital - a small-format works on paper. Until now, does not include drawings of the artist, which may be, according to preliminary estimates, up to several hundred.

Best part of the legacy of the master are his subtle and poetic etchings, depicting the Russian nature of the middle band and the impoverished village of the Soviet period. Exceptional skills in gouache BF Frantsuzova - landscapes, floral still lifes. Painting in his work, despite the large number of the remaining work, wore a large auxiliary character. Performed in a hospital before his death last works are existential in nature (eg, an image stuck in the ground consecrated bread on forks or crumpled paper (all - watercolor)), they are sometimes visible elements of the poetics of surrealism (hospital room window as the man's face; pitcher highlights resembling the eye; selected in rotten wood, reminiscent of American skyscrapers).

At the opening of the exhibition, were present and invited many guests. Was shown VGIK educational film about the artist, shot in 1966, the exhibition was released the second edition, expanded and supplemented, an album of etchings BF Frantsuzova.

The exhibition runs until February 27, 2010

Perhaps you (and many) will help this board by someone on the forum, which I often use. In order not to look at pictures in the future, they can be "correct" and then they will look much more attractive. Some work hard and the result is obvious. Here's what should be done in Photoshop:

1. View - show the entire screen (or so it fit the whole picture)
2. Panel - Tool "frame"
3. Holding the frame left arm to put the upper left corner of the image and drag on the bottom right corner of the
4. Send "tick" in the "run" (where%)
5. Left mouse dragged "Squares" to the free corners of the picture
6. ENTER
