Nicholas Timkov Yefimovich (1912-1993)
Graduated LIZHSA (1939), Workshop II Brodsky. He studied at the MD Bernstein, AA Rylova, AI Lyubimov, VA Serov.
Member LSSH since 1943. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1987).
He painted landscapes, genre scenes, full-scale sketches. He worked in engineering an oil painting and watercolors. Master of landscape painting. The development went from traditional plein air impressionistic side letter enrichment and refinement of color, enhancing decorative, stylized and conventions of drawing. Colorful range is extremely wide, color media, arts and plane, but not local, but subtly related to the relief with the expressive possibilities of the surface of the canvas, texture, brush stroke.
