Interest Ivan Lindsay, director Lindsay Fine Art Ltd by Russian art is not accidental because it comes from the famous family Vorontsov. In England, Semyon Romanovich Vorontsov married and lived until his death. His daughter Catherine was married to Lord Pembroke, and his son Michael returned to Russia and participated in the Napoleonic wars. For successes in military campaigns, Mikhail Vorontsov was granted the title of His Serene Highness Prince, and he was appointed governor-general of New Russia and viceroy of the Caucasus.
