Competition of the Moscow Society of Lovers of Fine Arts. He passed on Dec. 14, 1893. An interesting procedure for providing pictures for the contest. Artists presenting paintings for the contest, instead of his name (signature), makes a picture of a sign, and at the same time sent to the Society a sealed envelope with his name, and the envelope make the same sign. Based on the statute and rules for the contest are permitted, except for members of the Society of Artists and in general of Russian artists, foreign artists, studying art in Russia. First prize for the genre of the capital NS Mazurina - 200 rub., 2 nd prize - 100 rubles.; First prize for portrait of the capital L. Panina - 225 rub., 1 st prize for landscape - 150 USD .
