Today, 9 September, at 16.00 in the halls of Russia Academy of Arts (Prechistenka, 21) opens an exhibition of works corresponding member of the Russia Academy of Arts Chainikova Gregory (1960-2008). On display are paintings, created by the master in 1990-2008, respectively.

Gregory Dummies - bright and original artist who managed to say its weighty word in art. Throughout his short creative life, he remained loyal to the principles that guided his teachers - people's artist of the USSR AP and SP Tkachev: follow the traditions of Russian realistic art, reflect the truth of life, to extol the beauty of his native land.

The artist was born in 1960 in the village Grahovo in Udmurtia. In 1987 he graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after VI Surikov. In 1988-1991 he studied in the creative workshops of painting (under the leadership of AP and SP Tkachev), USSR Academy of Arts, started working in the House of creativity. Repin's "Academic Dacha, where was written most of his paintings. Since 1988 - Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

Fabrics Chainikova have high professional skill, spontaneity and sincerity, they are all united by love for their country, without which, according to the author himself, he could not conceive of himself or creativity. Tver, Ryazan, Arkhangelsk region, Vyatka, Solovki, Balaam - in the field of view of the artist turned out to be the most remote corners of Russia. It captures the unique landscapes of Russian nature: vast expanses of forest, rivers, quiet northern village. In the genre painting by a deep and poetic, with a piercing the correctness of the world unpretentious village life.

A special place in the work Chainikova takes the genre of the portrait. Bright, distinctive Valais on his canvases always attract the eye, they are distinguished by integrity, harmonious correspondence between externally and internally content. Before the audience is presented not just a portrait, this is a story about a man, the image is not so much a person as the character, his lived experience, aspirations and experiences.

Gregory Dummies saw life in its diversity, could rise from the everyday to a high generalization from the perception of a real nature to her artistic understanding.
