Default Robber attacked the Roerich gallery in India

In the Indian town of Naggar was an attempted robbery of an art gallery, located in the former estate of the artist Nicholas Roerich and his family. It is reported by ITAR-TASS referring to the curator of the International Roerich Memorial Trust Alain Adamkovu.
The thieves managed to carry only a box for collecting donations, which were about two thousand rupees (around $ 42). However, if it were not chased away, the damage could be large, according to police.
Attempted robbery occurred on Sunday, June 28, when members of the house-muzya Roerich art gallery and went to a half-hour lunch break. When he returned, they saw the building of tourists. Those told that entered through an open door, and met a man in middle age. He pretended to museum staff and reminded them to wear shoe covers, and then disappeared.
In the collection galleries are 36 paintings of Nicholas Roerich (mainly Himalayan scenery), as well as 11 paintings of his son, Svyatoslav. Roerich arrived in India in 1920 during an expedition to Central Asia. In 1928, in Naggar they opened the Institute of Himalayan Research Urusvati. "

Thank you. Just a couple of weeks ago was in Naggar.
But to be perfectly honest, though Naggar was specifically planned our journey, the gallery soon made a painful impression, nezhli liked.
But Roerich's house, which now show exclusively through glass windows, very warm and calm.
