1965 Salvador Dali Cervantes Etching
In the 1960's. Swiss publisher Jean Schneider suggested Dali issue printed a series dedicated to the five historical (real and fictional) characters, left a trace in the history of Spain. The series, released in 1965 limited edition of 180 copies, called "Five Spanish Immortals", and each of its copy was personally signed by S. Dali. This edition of 125 copies was sold to The Collectors Guild (USA). The rest of the release, thirty (30) printed on paper, Japon, numbered /XXX, and twenty-five (25) on Japon (in ink bistre) were sold by the publisher.
