Default Summer auction in London

All greetings from London! Arrived today, managed only otsmotret Bonems. By studying the catalog at home, did not find anything interesting, but here are a few things all of a sudden interested. Actually, once again convinced that the work in the catalog and "live" look quite different, with an interesting paradox: the better the thing looks in the catalog, the worse it actually is, and vice versa. In general, over half a dozen works decided to fight, let's see what happens. By the way, looked at indicators of investment risk posed by the experts site to this auction, in general agreement, except in two cases.
1 - Burliuk, I am convinced that he is a true, perhaps, meant that 30 thousand pounds - somewhat expensive for a small thing, but the carved panels occur very infrequently, and therefore should cost more than the usual works. 2 - There will not say, because it'll try to buy this "questionable" work, we'll talk after the auction.

Sotheby's have looked today. First of all, as promised - on Petritsky. In my opinion Petritsky 395-398 - artificially aged modern replica, with several manufacturers overdone, this uneven, fragmented aging of paper usually does not happen. But Petritsky 402-403 clearly made with his other hand and apparently made a very long time, but I do not believe that it is Anatoly Petritsky, at least they are quite different in style from the previous letter I have seen perfect Petritsky. These two lots are not signed, and why they attributed Petritsky I do not understand.
Next: as always, a lot of funky Korovin, very suspicious Annenkov (№ 419) - how could such a brilliant draftsman prevent double line on the right leg and to make such a repulsive person? Not successfully arranged the manufacturer Burliuk (№ 433) and from the evening trades quite like Larionov, Exter and Bogomazov: the first two of these, but simply failed work, Exter, alas, again causing great somineniya.
Of the positive emotions - Gorbatov, so much excellent work on my memory the first time, after this auction has become clear how to determine the authenticity of this wizard.

Just returned from Christie's, Sotheby's receptions. This year they decided to make the devices in parallel - at the same time, apparently to save: the guests will go and there and here, then eat, drink less. Although far too less: at Sotheby's were treated to champagne and canapes size of a match head, and Christie was the original: the same champagne offered a snack (!!!), cabbage salad and ice cream (!!!) - you would not believe - sandwich with herring, still stuck with last year!
About the collection of Christie's nothing to say: so pathetic in my memory (ie the last 12 years) has not yet happened. In Shuhaeva genius and a very strong point of the Unknown nothing. Knowledgeable people say that in the 19 th century a lot of incorrect material, and the leadership of Christie pointed out and proved it on several lots, what will happen next - learn the auction.

Here is my opinion and it was, when looked through catalogs, thought maybe I have something nedoglyadela ...
Though they write that the peak kizisa already passed in the auction catalog it is clearly visible, see how the auction will take place, although what?
Indeed, vpominaya fall, think, and fall auctions are even anything passed, and the beginning of the year was nothing (which only cost the collection of Yves Saint Laurent), but something very vague ahead ....: confused:

Today at Sotheby's little strings, but will Kustodiyev (Lot 12, 18), Nesterov (Lot 11, 19), Bogdanov-Belsky (9, 25).
But too much of Wednesday, Goncharova, Larionov, Altman, Anisfeld, Roerich, Konchalovsky, Grabar, and, of course, Konstantin Gorbatov! Lot: lots from 356 to 385 and even 445. Sold out, my opinion, Gorbatova.
