Zinovy Tolkachev (1903-1977). Author's proof from the album "Shtetl (Town)" (Warsaw, Lodz, 1946).

Released in 1946 in Poland book is the only separate edition of the series of works by Ukrainian artist, known also under the author's names "to the memory of Sholom Aleichem" and "inspired by the works of Sholom Aleichem". The book represents an album of reproductions of paintings and graphic compositions Tolkacheva with descriptions in multiple languages (including Russian and Yiddish).

For sale - hand-drawn cover and 20 songs on separate sheets. Most of the leaves are personally signed by the author. Leaves the Road to the Kasrilovka", "Menachem Mendl" and "Finished" with dedications of Kiev artist sculptor and ceramist Jacob Rabe (1904-1986). Attached the invitation for the opening of the exhibition "Memory of Sholom Aleichem" (Kiev, 1966; booklet, the date and time indicated by the hand of the artist).
