Honored Artist of Ukraine Vasily Andreyevich Ponikarov was born August 26, 1929 in the Odessa region.
Education: Odessa Art College named. Grekov, 1958, Moscow Polygraphic Institutes, 1970.
The exhibitions is from 1965. Solo exhibitions were held in Odessa (1984, 1986), in Kiev (1987). The artist's works were presented at exhibitions in Hungary (1969.1977, 1980), Bulgaria (1970), Italy (1974, 1976, 1982, 1990), France (1974), Switzerland (1985), Finland (1987), Russia (1991 , 1992), Israel (1993), Mexico (1996).
Artworks VA Ponikarova stored in art museums, Odessa and Kharkov, in Ochakovskoe marinisticheskogo Museum of Art, Museum of Izmail AV Suvorov, Prilutskiy local museums, in private collections.
