The exhibition features paintings of a number of symbolic for the Bulgarian art by artists who began their careers, both before and after the Second World War, internships in Munich, Paris, Vienna, and then continued his artistic career, and over the next decades.
It is above all such famous names as Ivan Nenov, Dechko Uzunov, Vera Nedkova, Vasil Barak, Stojan Sotirov, Kirill Petrov, etc. Their work, as well as the plastic art tradition of the Bulgarian 1920 - early 1940's formed the basis for inspiring creativity generation of artists who have made their first steps in art in 1960: Svetlina Ruseva Ivan Kirkov, Ioan Leviev, Dimitar Kirov, Georgi Bozhilova, Genk Genkova, Georgi Baev, Alexander Petrov, Magda Abazova, Peter Docheva Ivan Vukadinova, Lika Yanko . This generation is restored to power and expressiveness of painting, indeed, his paintings and emphasized individual creative artists of the sixties quest for a long time determined the development of Bulgarian art.
The exhibition at the paintings of Nicholas Maystorova, Ivana Dimova, Dimitar Buyukliyskogo, Thomas Trifonovskaya, Hristo Simeonov, Dimitar Kazakov-Neron, Jordan Katsamunskogo, Dinko Stoev, Saso Stoitsova, Milko Bozhkova, Andrew Daniel, Svilen Blazheva Ivaylo Mircheva reflected the trends of development of Bulgarian Art subsequent decades, which have subsequently been adequately pursued in the most creative young painters beginning of the XXI century Mihaela Vlasevoy, Ivan Kostolova etc.
Display of the exhibition "Dialogues with the times" in the halls of the gallery gives the viewer a rare opportunity for Moscow to meet with the Bulgarian art.
The exhibition runs until 27 April 2009.
