Dear friends! I would like to help someone , seriously wounded in a skirmish with the Kiev commandos during recent events and underwent surgery , with attribution and subsequent sale of paintings belonging to him - a large (approximately meter ) old portrait by an unknown artist . Portrait painted in oil on wood . Picture comes from Skvira - once the county town of the province of Kiev , now the regional center of the Kiev region . Chemical analysis showed that the portrait was written no earlier than 1820 and no later than the 1850s . Art expertise unproven and, in my opinion, is totally unprofessional work linked with the school Venetsianov . What do you think about the possible time and place you are creating a portrait ?

In my opinion, the author of some of the pupil "school (circle) Venetsianov."

And not a very significant artist wrote it.
