Galents Armine Sarkisovna (1920-2007)
Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR , Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR.
The artist was born in the family who escaped the 1915 genocide fled to Syria. Art education has received , taking lessons in Beirut in Harutiun Galentsa , one of the original masters of Armenian brush. Later became his faithful companion of life. In 1946 ( according to other sources - in 1956 ) , the couple moved to their homeland.
The first exhibition of the artist held in Aleppo in 1939 .
Worked in the genre of landscape , still life, portrait , pictures.
