Karpovich Victor Kovalenko was born May 29, 1930 in the town of Tuapse, Krasnodar region.
From 1948 to 1950 GG studied in the Krasnodar Art College.
From 1950 to 1953 GG service in the Soviet Navy. Member of the exercise "Ocean" (1970 Mediterranean Sea , Syria , Libya , Egypt)
In 1952 he participated in the All-Union Exhibition of Artists of the USSR in Moscow fleets .
After military service in 1954 , he entered the Dnepropetrovsk Art College, from which he graduated in 1956. Immediately in 1956 began his studies at the Kharkov State Institute of Fine Arts and graduated from it in 1962.
Member republic, national and international art exhibitions.
In 1967, the Union of Artists of the USSR.
In 1983 he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Ukraine."
Kovalenko VK - artist - painter of battle . Main themes of his works Black Sea Fleet , Sevastopol.
His works are in museums in 12 of the Crimea , Ukraine and Russia , as well as in private galleries in England, the USA , Turkey, Germany . His works were bought by the Ministry of Culture , Art Fund of Ukraine, the management of exhibitions and dioramas of Ukraine. Reproductions of the artist published in the journals " Obrazotvorche Mistetstvo" (Kiev), "Ukraine" (Kiev), "Dnipro" (Kiev), "Marine Collection" (Moscow), "The Soviet soldier" (Moscow), "Warrior of Russia " (Moscow ) . Many of the paintings have served as illustrations for books on military subjects .
From 1990-1992 yy Victor Kovalenko Karpovich - the first chairman of the Sevastopol city organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Teacher of the Sevastopol branch of the Lviv Academy of Arts.
