Korobov Yuri was born July 17, 1952 in Yuzhnosakhalinsk . He studied at the Moscow Art-Industrial School. Kalinin /1969-1973 /. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1988.

Participates in art exhibitions since 1975 . His works are exhibited at the All-Russian , inter-regional , regional and international exhibitions . Personal exhibition was held in Vologda /1995 /.

He has lived and worked in Vologda in 1954 . His works are in the Vologda Regional Art Gallery, Vologda local history museums , private collections in Russia and abroad.

The artist works in oil painting in the genres of landscape, still life , home painting , engaged in engineering graphics drawing with charcoal, sanguine (portrait) , he worked in the field of arts and crafts ( tapestry ) . Major works : a series of rural landscapes /1980-1990 - e /, a series of paintings dedicated to the memory of the Great Patriotic War /1980 /, a series of paintings of village life /1980 , 1990 /.
