Valentine Raheen

Valentina Raheen was born in Leningrad in 1932

1948-1958 - studied at the Art School at the Academy of Arts of the USSR ,

1953-1959 - at the painting department of the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after IE Repin Academy of Fine Arts of the USSR, she graduated from the Institute for the workshop BV Johanson.

From 1960 to 1966 - a teacher of painting at the Leningrad Higher Art School named after VI Mukhina .

Since 1962 - a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists of the RSFSR. Exhibit beginning with 1959

Participant in Leningrad , zonal , union , anniversary and group exhibitions.

The most important are :

"Exhibition of works by eleven artists" , Leningrad, 1972 , and - " Nine " (Leningrad , 1976) , an exhibition hall at the Ohta .
Together with Ya.Krestovskim and L. Tkachenko ( members of the 11- minute ) participate in the exhibition in Moscow - the hall on the Crimean shaft. And in 1990 - in the "Exhibition of the 26- Leningrad and Moscow Artists" , Leningrad, CEH . The last solo exhibition was held in May 2013 in the halls of the Museum of the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg.
