Valentine Hodasevich . Costume Zarema Asafiev the ballet " The Fountain of Bakhchisarai ." Paper, pencil , watercolor, gouache, bronze paint . 1934

The premiere took place on 28 September 1934 in Leningrad Theater of Opera and Ballet . Kirov ( Mariinsky ) . The leading roles were danced by Galina Ulanova (Mary) and Tatiana Vecheslova ( Zarema ) .

 
Getting Tatiana Vecheslova and artist Valentina Hodasevich took place in 1930 at the premiere of "The Golden Age , continued on while working on " The Fountain of Bakhchisarai "and grew into a close friendship during the production of the ballet " Esmeralda " .
