Boris Sveshnikov (1927-1998) began his career as a very unhappy , say even - horrible, ridiculous accident by hitting the camp by as much as 8 years for " anti-Soviet propaganda."
It is there written the most touching and amazing his work. It is incomprehensible how the artist had the strength to dig ditches in the rain , sun, cold and wind, and then write their camp hell suite .
Subtle, precise calligraphic stroke written snowfields or dark rooms where small figures loom prisoners and guards.
From the earliest realistic paintings he moved to the peculiar color "spider ", woven of fine point of the stroke. His heroes were invariably cranks and vagrants wandering in the worlds of dreams and their nightmares .
Cold Light of Death permeates all of these objects, people , houses, mountains , landscapes, clouds ...
