Raheen, Valentina was born on June 9, 1932 in Leningrad. In 1948-1953, studied at the Art School at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after IE Rapina. In 1953 he enrolled at the institution from which she graduated in 1959 at the studio of Boris Johanson with the rank of an artist painting. Diploma work - painting "White Nights" [1].
In 1960 he became a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. In 1961-1968 he taught painting at the Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art named after Vera Mukhina. In the years 1970-1980 made some trips to the Altai, in the Crimea, Karelia, Kostroma, Pskov region, visited France, Italy, Syria, Lebanon, England and Holland.
Since 1959, participated in exhibitions and present their works together with the works of the leading masters of the fine art of Leningrad. She has worked mainly in the genre of landscape, still life, interiors. Together with her husband, Herman EGOSHIN artist participated in an exhibition of eleven Leningrad artists of 1972. Valentine Raheen was a member of the Leningrad group of artists, "Eleven." Group of the most prominent representatives of the "left LOSHa" united to participate in two exhibitions in 1972 and 1976.
