In March, the family Konchalovsky accompanies VISurikova in Berlin, then moved to Italy (Siena, Pisa, Assisi, Perrudzhu).

Also in Siena and environs wrote a series of urban landscapes and still lifes, attentively studying the structure of natural forms.

In 1912, Konchalovsky performs sketches of scenery and costumes for opera Rubinstein "Merchant Kalashnikov" Opera for SI Zimin. Decorations are not preserved (killed during the fire). The summer of 1914 traveling with his family in Krasnoyarsk. Along the way, in the Urals, he finds the news of the beginning of the war, and Konchalovsky mobilized as an artillery officer.
