Russian painter and theater artist . Born in with. Stanovoye, Tula. Original art education in the secondary school in the Eagle at the P. Nekrasov. In 1882 - 1888 he studied at MUZHVZ in I. Pryanishnikov , V. Polenov and Vladimir Makovsky. In 1888 worked under the direction of Poltava Myasoedova . Member and exhibitor MOLH , TPHV , Petersburg Island artists. In 1888 - 1915 he lived in Moscow , served as a designer for the Bolshoi Theatre (1888 - 1900). He worked as a draftsman at a textile factory Polyakov (1911 - 1914) , was teaching at a private school . He was engaged in painting churches and private estates. In the summer months went by studies in the Ukraine, the Caucasus, Palanga , Smolensk, Tula and other provinces . In 1919 - 1930 he lived in Pavlodar, where he led the art studio and taught in schools. He painted landscapes , still lifes , paintings on household plots in line with realistic traditions of the Wanderers. Presented in TG , Samara XM and many other museums in Russia.
