In 1929 Tyutyudzhan I became interested in surrealism and came to a group of artists, along with Van Duysburom, Karslundom and Helion. The following year he took part in the exhibition together with Arp, Calder and Giacometti. "The most mysterious and profound surrealist" - so later to say about him Helion.
Tyutyudzhan always been aloof from worldly life and the art market, despite the large contribution to the avant-garde movement and the recognition of the indisputable masters such as Arp, Elion, Wang Duysbur, Giacometti, Calder and others
Tyutyudzhan worked in various artistic styles, but the subtlety and amazing plastic language characterizes all his work: from expressionism to abstraction and surrealism.
He died in 1968 at age 63. Interest in painting masters emerged in Europe shortly after his death, but for the general public his work is still largely unknown.
