Branch "Troparevo-Nikulino" SBD local social services center (SSC) № 29 invites creative meeting with the artist and geographer Alexander Amelin. Beginning of the meeting - at 13-00. The meeting was organized as part of the personal exhibition of Alexander Amelin "Predzime", which is held here today.

Alexander Amelin - amateur painter, on the main profession - geography, ecology, ecologist pipeline construction. A.V.Amelin - PhD in Geography Honorary builder of oil and gas and Honored Worker of Fuel and Energy of Russia.
The geography of creativity and historical interests of the artist rather extensive. The exhibition native suburbs adjacent to the edge of the Kolyma, Central Asia and Western Siberia. A modern life in Moscow - with scenes of ancient Russia and stories of the Second Punic War, which took place over two hundred years before Christ.
In the pictures there are also one-of-a-kind stories - art image River Kegan (Kolyma region), the Caspian Sea salt marshes, dry thunderstorm on Ustyurt, Sobsky transition in the Urals. All this is written on personal memories and impressions of the author, who these places on expeditions through its foundation profession. All this is so distant, inaccessible and inhospitable places, that there is hardly gone before any other artist.

The meeting was organized as part of his first solo exhibition "Predzime" held at the Center. The exhibition "Predzime" was presented, and historical landscape painting artist.

Head of the Administration of the municipality Troparevo-Nikulino Nicholas V. Uvarov believed that the exhibition of a man who is not indifferent to what is happening around them. "A lot of people from a certain age have to say about what's going on and, if possible, leave it to the people who come to us to replace it. Therefore, these shows - is a stage. Alexander Amelin told about his work in the environmental field of oil and gas development, on expeditions "where Makar calves do not chase," and shared his thoughts about the philosophical essence of art:
- We represent more than what we see. Fine Arts in painting can not be reduced to a photo, for example, if we take the famous painting Levitan "Eternal Rest", we can not find in nature this is the place. There are only something like that, but no more. Because art - it is always a synthesis, a synthesis and a new target knowledge that nothing is impossible to cancel. We paint what philosophers call the transcendental nature of the phenomena - that no words to express what is out there, outside, out of the equation. And the task of the artist to try to bring it up to the person.

In addition, the artist spoke about some paintings in the exhibition. Special impression on the audience made the story of a thunderstorm in the Ustyurt plateau in Kazakhstan, which served as the subject for the painting "Night lightning over Ustyurt." This picture looks like an absolutely fantastic product - intense purple color contrast, many "tentacles" of tornadoes, flying balls rolling stones, dazzling white lightning, a herd of crazed saiga, racing Neznamov where. And a black cat in the bushes, which does not bode well.
The artist says that the painting - on the contrary, it is realistic. In these deserts sometimes happen terrible dry thunderstorms. Night due to high air electrification people there is an overwhelming sense of anxiety and dread. Small animals find no place, and small birds are dying of heart failure. The air is quiet. Not a stir. However, after some time, clear desert stars begin to disappear one by one, in rising from the horizon in the pitch blackness. And then suddenly swooped furious wind, the world turns into a huge lightning lit hell in which dozens of tornadoes are worn on the ground, and the balls are flying tumbleweeds jumps in the tens and hundreds of meters in a mad rage. Animals flee in terror, and the people in fear pressed to the ground. According to legend, before the scourge of the travelers coming from the desert a little black kitty. And even if you had a cat, then beware! God forbid, if it becomes the flippers to you. Then no one can guarantee that you will see the sunrise! The picture is devoted to debunking the human swagger and claims to omnipotence. Nature has not yet said its last word. And it should not be encouraged to say the word yet - this is the plot of the picture.
In addition to the very diverse and inaccessible parts of the country where he had been an artist, the exhibition presents works devoted to his family and places - North America, as well as a series of works on historical themes. The exhibition demonstrated that the geography of creativity and historical interests of the artist's wide enough. Painting artist explanatory text and verses of his own.

Alexander Amelin - a painter, a member of the Association of Artists in geography, a member of the artistic section of the House of Scientists of the RAS. The artist develops the direction of transcendental realism and romantic symbolism and accompanies almost all his paintings poetry.
