CHEPTSOV, Efim Mikhailovich (1875 - 1950). Even as a child picked up a brush to help his father paint the roof and painting icons. Then - Study in Kiev in iconographic school at the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. In the 20 years he went to work in St. Petersburg, 1901 Tenishev enrolled in art school in the class of prof. Transfiguration, a group of students the school painted the church in Florence. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts under the supervision of KA Savinskoye and I. Tvorozhnikova.
