Record sales at Sotheby's

At yesterday's afternoon trading on the modern art Sotheby's sold as cakes: it was sold about 93%of lots! It is simply amazing. It was not a single expert who would have predicted a drop in oil prices or the emergence of the global financial crisis, so not a single expert who would have dared predict such a successful sale of contemporary art. There is a crisis in the expert case - there is no prophet in my country!
