Engraving dates from 1762 - 1792 year.
As I understand it through a translator, is a reprint of the 19th century , produced by the publisher Marel. Again - are biographical data that publisher.
Why then she engraving dates from the 18th century ?
Or something I did not understand.

I understand that the first edition released Jean Baptiste Tilliard in the 18th century on the basis of the original Jean Baptiste Le Prince. What is stored in the museum - it is a later edition, issued in 19 Marel based Tilliard'a cliche .

Elek, yes, checked - mostly really used in this meaning.
Mixed up somehow with the recut for Japanese prints, where the re-engraved.

Released a second edition. In one draw all the work (the series ) is the original (s ). One of the original does not exist.
Reprint the original essence is released later. If the cliche is not destroyed , it is possible again to release the original - is the n-th edition /circulation.
